Oppo Reno 16 Pro Price in Pakistan: Rs. 214,999 (Expected)

The international rollout of the Oppo Reno 16 Pro has moved a step closer as the device appeared on several regulatory databases this week. The smartphone, identified by model number CPH2863, has officially cleared Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification. This development follows a series of similar listings on the UAE’s TDRA and Europe’s EEC portals, indicating that Oppo is preparing for a coordinated global release.

While the NBTC filing does not provide a comprehensive hardware breakdown, it confirms that the CPH2863 variant supports 5G connectivity along with standard GSM, WCDMA, and LTE bands.

The Reno 16 Pro is expected to debut alongside the Reno 16 and a more affordable Reno 16F, which also recently appeared on the NBTC website under the model number CPH2859.

Camera and Design Specifications

Leaked details from internal supply chain sources and social media tips suggest that the Reno 16 Pro will feature a significant hardware shift compared to its predecessor. The global version is rumored to sport a 6.32 inch OLED display with a glass and aluminum frame, maintaining the ergonomic focus of the series. However, Chinese variant leaks point toward a larger 6.78 inch 1.5K LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The most notable upgrade lies in the imaging department. Sourcing from ProPakistani and verified leaks on X indicates that the Reno 16 Pro will lead with a 200 megapixel primary sensor equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). This primary lens will likely be part of a triple rear camera system that retains the familiar “camera island” design seen on the Reno 15 Pro, though refined for a sleeker profile.

Performance and Battery Life

Under the hood, the Reno 16 Pro is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, a platform optimized for high efficiency and generative AI tasks. Listings on the TÜV Rheinland certification site have already confirmed support for 80W wired fast charging. The device is also rumored to pack a massive 7,000mAh silicon carbon battery in its Chinese iteration, while the global model might feature a slightly smaller but still substantial cell to maintain its slim form factor.

“The Reno series continues to prioritize the intersection of portrait photography and AI powered performance,” an Oppo spokesperson stated during a recent regional briefing regarding the brand’s software roadmap. The new series is expected to run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, bringing deeper integration with Google Gemini and Oppo’s proprietary AI toolbox.

Industry insiders suggest an official launch event in China later this month, with the global variant scheduled to arrive in markets such as Pakistan, India, and the UAE by July or August 2026. The inclusion of an “Action Button,” similar to recent flagship trends, is also being tested for the Pro models.

The exact timing of the Pakistani launch remains unconfirmed, but local distributors typically follow the global release by three to four weeks. Regulatory approval from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is expected shortly after the official international announcement.
