Tecno officially released the Camon 50 Ultra 5G in the Pakistani market on May 1, 2026, positioning the device as a high-end contender in the upper mid-range segment. The smartphone arrives with a significant focus on battery endurance and mobile photography, featuring a 6500mAh battery and a 50MP Sony LYTIA sensor.
Priced at PKR 119,999, the device is now available nationwide following weeks of international leaks and local teasers.
The Camon 50 Ultra 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, a 4nm processor designed for high-efficiency 5G performance. This is paired with 12GB of physical RAM, which can be extended to 24GB via virtual memory, and 256GB of internal storage.
The 6500mAh battery supports 45W Super Charge technology, and the company claims it provides over two days of endurance under normal usage. Tecno included bypass charging in this model to manage heat during intensive gaming by powering the motherboard directly rather than the battery.
Imaging is handled by a triple-camera system on the rear that emphasizes low-light performance. The primary shooter uses a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C sensor with a 1/1.56-inch size and optical image stabilization. A 50MP telephoto lens offers 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom through AI-assisted processing, while an 8MP ultra-wide lens completes the array.
On the front, a 50MP autofocus camera is housed within the display cutout to support high-resolution selfies and 4K video recording.
The device features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It includes Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for screen protection and carries an IP69K rating. This rating indicates the phone is built to withstand high-pressure water jets and high temperatures, a step above the standard IP68 water resistance.
The swan-inspired design incorporates a 43.5-degree curvature on the edges to improve ergonomics and hand feel for the 178g chassis.

The phone ships with Android 16 and a promise of three major operating system upgrades. It also integrates several generative AI tools like the AI Art Gallery and an AI Image to Video Generator.
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G is fully approved by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and supports all local 5G and 4G networks.
It is available through official retail partners and online stores starting today at the PKR 119,999 price point.
