Infinix Smart 20 Debuts in Pakistan Market with MediaTek Chipset and Large Battery

Infinix has officially expanded its budget-friendly smartphone lineup in Pakistan with the introduction of the Infinix Smart 20. Positioned as an entry-tier option, this device addresses the basics of daily smartphone usage by bringing critical hardware updates over its predecessors, targeting consumers looking for high battery capacity and sustained usability at an accessible price point.

According to specifications listed on the official Infinix global product database, the device marks a shift away from previously used low-end Unisoc processors. The newly launched handset runs on a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset built on a 12-nanometer architecture, featuring an octa-core CPU configuration with two Cortex-A75 cores running at 2.0 GHz alongside six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 1.7 GHz. Graphics processing is managed by a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.

The local variant is paired with 4GB of RAM, which can be extended via virtual storage expansion, and is coupled with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2TB using a dedicated microSDXC slot.

The display on the Infinix Smart 20 is a notable highlight for its price bracket, featuring a 6.78-inch IPS LCD punch-hole screen with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1576 pixels. The panel delivers a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 700 nits under high brightness mode, ensuring better legibility under outdoor light.

For daily durability, Infinix has secured an IP64 rating for the device, making it dust-tight and resistant to water splashes, while engineering the body frame to remain drop resistant up to 1.5 meters.

Powering the device is a 5,200 mAh capacity battery, which supports 15W wired charging via a USB Type-C 2.0 port, alongside a 5W reverse wired charging function to power external accessories. On the software side, the device ships with XOS 16 out of the box.

For photography, the phone utilizes an 8-megapixel primary camera on the back with dual-LED flash, capable of recording video up to 2K resolution at 30 frames per second, matched by an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies.
