Infinix GT 50 Pro Debuts in Pakistan (Price & Specs)

Price in Pakistan: Rs. 79,999

Infinix expanded its specialized gaming portfolio in Pakistan today with the official release of the GT 50 Pro. The smartphone arrives as a direct successor to the previous GT series, focusing on high-performance hardware and dedicated physical controls for mobile esports enthusiasts. The launch follows weeks of local teasers and reflects the brand’s intent to capture the mid-range gaming segment.

The hardware is headlined by the new HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system.

This thermal management solution utilizes a significantly larger vapor chamber and high-conductivity graphite sheets to dissipate heat during extended gaming sessions. Internal testing data shared by Infinix indicates that this system can reduce core temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius compared to standard cooling setups. This allows the processor to maintain peak clock speeds without the performance throttling that typically affects mobile devices under heavy load.

The exterior design continues the Mecha-aesthetic of its predecessors, but the GT 50 Pro adds functional hardware in the form of GT Triggers. These are ultrasonic shoulder buttons located on the side frame of the device. Users can map these triggers to specific in-game actions such as aiming or firing in titles like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty: Mobile. This physical interface is designed to provide a more tactical experience and free up screen space for better visibility.

According to the official product page on the Infinix Pakistan website, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultimate chipset. This processor is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The company also confirmed that the device supports virtual RAM expansion, allowing the system to utilize a portion of the internal storage to assist with background multitasking.

“The GT 50 Pro represents a significant shift in how we approach the mobile gaming market in Pakistan by offering hardware usually reserved for flagship devices,” stated a representative for Infinix Pakistan during the launch event in Karachi. “Our focus with this model was to eliminate the common barriers of heat and control limitations that gamers face.”

The display consists of a 6.78 inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. This screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and offers a peak brightness of 1300 nits, which helps with visibility in outdoor conditions. For audio, Infinix collaborated with JBL to tune the dual stereo speakers, aiming for more accurate spatial awareness during gameplay.

The software experience is centered on XOS 14 based on Android 14. Infinix officials stated that the GT 50 Pro will receive two major Android version updates and three years of security patches. The operating system includes a dedicated Game Mode that allows users to block incoming calls, manage system resources, and adjust the sensitivity of the GT Triggers from a slide-out menu.
